Regulatory Status
Unacores AA Solutions Private Limited holds a Certificate of Registration granted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to operate as an Account Aggregator (NBFC-AA), dated 07.06.2023, under Section 45-IA of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934. INK appears in the list of Account Aggregators with an operating NBFC-AA licence published by Sahamati, the industry alliance for the Account Aggregator ecosystem.
The RBI does not accept any responsibility or guarantee about the present financial soundness of the company or for the correctness of any statements or representations made by the company.
What an Account Aggregator Does — and Does Not Do
Under the RBI Master Direction for Non-Banking Financial Company – Account Aggregators, an Account Aggregator:
- retrieves, shares or transfers a customer’s financial information only with the customer’s explicit consent;
- moves financial information from Financial Information Providers (FIPs), such as banks, to Financial Information Users (FIUs), such as regulated lenders, on the terms of that consent;
- does not support financial transactions and does not undertake any business other than account aggregation;
- does not own the financial information it handles and may not use or disclose it other than as the consent allows.
INK is therefore not a lender: decisions on loans, credit or other products are made by the FIU that requested your consent.
